Can you install composite decking on an existing frame?

Sometimes, but only if the existing framing and footings meet current Minnesota code, including the 42-inch Zone II frost footing depth. We evaluate the substructure first, since composite decking is only as good as what it’s fastened to.

Is composite decking slippery when wet?
